  “An important aspect of the Academy of Finance is the
financial knowledge a student gains.  Other students may have
to wait until they get to college or beyond to learn about the
financial world.  In our academy a student takes the
appropriate courses such as Accounting, Economics, and Wall
Street in order to expand their knowledge about the business
world.  In their senior year, students also get a chance to earn
real college credit by taking two classes at the University of
Southern California which helps them get an opportunity for
the first time to attend a college level class, something other
high school students do not.”
